Legal Assistance

We are not attorneys and we cannot and do not provide legal representation or advice. Should you need the services of an attorney, we can provide referrals both to private attorneys/firms and local legal aid and pro bono organizations that might more specifically be able to meet your needs.

We do offer and provide the following legal assistance:

• Expungement clinics to help clean up criminal records

• Access to computers, printers and assistance to help fill out legal documents in matters in which you are self-represented

• Accompaniment to court dates/hearings

• Periodic legal workshops led by attorneys and/or legal professionals in areas including, but not limited to, landlord-tenant law, immigration rights, and disability law
